Terms of Use

Effective date: October 28, 2026

This website is operated by Aspera, LLC on behalf of Aspera & Applied Innovative Psychiatry. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

Information only, not medical advice

Content on this site is for general educational purposes. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace an evaluation by a qualified clinician. Do not delay or disregard professional advice because of something you read here.

No doctor–patient relationship

Visiting this site, or contacting us by email or phone, does not create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins only after an evaluation and when we agree to provide your care.

Emergencies

This site and our email are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Email and privacy

Standard email is not fully secure. Please don't send detailed medical information by email; we'll discuss it with you privately. How we protect your health information is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Treatments and results

Some treatments described on this site, such as IV ketamine for depression, are used off-label, meaning they are not FDA-approved for that purpose, though they are supported by published research. Every person is different, results vary, and no outcome is guaranteed. Not every patient is a candidate for every program.

Content and trademarks

The text, images, logos and design of this site belong to Aspera, LLC or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Links to other sites

We may link to outside websites, such as published research. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

This site is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, Aspera, LLC and Applied Innovative Psychiatry are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version here. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
